Kyo Dream
Wednesday, June 23, 2009

I was at a big mall or such where there must have been a Dir en grey concert. I'm not sure if I went to it, but the dream starts right after when i meet up with my parents in this mall. There's a booth with promotional videos for artists and my mom used one she recommended to me for some GLAY PVs. I went in it and clicked around the screen. There seemed to be a new DVD of a live performance coming out. When I got out I got an envelope with a code on it. My dad was outside holding the one my mom got. We scanned them both to see if we won a prize but they were both just the default prize. It looked like it was one of those sock connectors for doing laundry. I seemed to know the guy who was handing out prizes. Some Japanese guy who worked at that mall. Maybe it was in Japan. Once my mom and dad and I got together, we joined the crowd of people leaving.

I think it was then I saw Kyo. We were childhood friends or something like acquaintances so I walked over and made small talk or such, then asked him what the little prizes I won were for. I said they were for laundry. I think I talked in Japanese. Then he answered in English(naturally) I don't know! I haven't done laundry since I was 3! He was amused. I really liked him and wished we could be friends since we were next door neighbors.

We went back to our homes and I waved goodbye cause we were both exiting our cars at the same time. Our properties were huge, right on the lake or ocean. Kinda like Michigan Lake. My mom went to tend to her plants. I put on some bike shorts (the adidas ones I got from Grace) and went down to the beach. My mom kept telling me to go down there to see something. She followed me to show me. These 3 statues on swings of either dogs or people. It reminded me of my childhood. Then she said she forgot to do something with rotating plants or such so she went back up near the house. I saw Kyo next door with his dad. Kyo was getting the boat ready to go out on the lake. I didn't watch him, but I headed around our shed near the shore (it was for gardening I think) My brother was in the boat/gardening shed too playing video games or something.

It sounded like Kyo ran into some drunken fishermen on the lake. They were behind a bridge support, but I heard "It takes a man-sized man to run that thing!" I thought that was a funny phrase so I repeated it to my brother. Then I randomly heard "Panda!" So I repeated that too. I realized the fisherman were probably making fun of Kyo. "You look like a panda!" must be what they said. I told this to my brother. He was only half listening playing his game. I thought, but Kyo wasn't wearing any makeup... Still, they might be neighbors and knew what he does and they were just too drunk to be polite.

Then I woke up with a horrible headache from that wine!

Second home in Tokyo?
Monday, August 31, 2009

I had a dream I had an apartment in Shinagawa in addition to my place in Miyagi. It was shared with another girl who was never around. But everytime I went to Tokyo, I'd stay at my little place and it would just feel like home so fast. I decided I would keep the place for myself even after she moved out. I also was living next to Teruhiko Sensei and we shared a vaccuum and dishwasher in a communal room in the hall. XD

I had a neat dream though.

I just got a new ALT job in Tokyo, or Sendai.

I packed up all my things from Tome and went to check out my new apartment in Sendai. I think I also had an apartment in Tokyo. Anyway, the apartment in Sendai was a really nice layout, but it was full of dead (and living) huge bugs. And I was walking around barefoot! As I was checking the place out, there was some decorative molding falling from the ceiling, and bugs fell out of that @_@

It had a large window with blinds, and as I looked out I saw it had started snowing. It was a good view. There was a train track surrounded by trees off to the left, and to the right was a nice view towards the center of the city.

The thing I really liked about the place was the huge kitchen with wooden butcher block type counters in good condition. Once I got them vacuumed off and really scrubbed down, I knew it would really look and smell good. Then I realized I didn't take any of my pots and pans/plates or cooking utensils with me! I saw a box left in the apartment of a few things from the previous tenant, but I decided I would go back to Tome soon to get those things.

Skip forward a few months: My family came to visit me in my clean apartment! It was really nice, just like I hoped to make it. I also discovered a sweet stereo system the previous tenant had left, and that was all cleaned up and and set up in a den-type room off the kitchen. My parents came in and sat down around the kitchen table. My brother went off to explore somewhere. I had a little ipod type thing I had been reading online news on before everyone got there. I found this article about a singing/talent competition similar to American Idol. I started playing the video and then realized, "Oh! I was in this!" It was apparently a less popular show, but Simon Cowell was doing some of the judging. He said before they played a clip of me singing, "Oh, this. I was really impressed by this show. I think my top pick was the amazing... Nobukazu on the violin. The girl was bloody good too, but I thought Nobukazu deserved the prize." I had won the top prize though, so then they played a clip of my performance. They started a song in English, and when the English singing stopped I had to sing in Japanese. "watashi ha..." is how it started. I forgot what song it was, kinda like a well-known disco/pop song. I thought I sounded pretty good on the clip. I hadn't seen any media of it, so I only had the first hand experience to remember. The last lines were me singing "I'm walking on thin thin ice... etc." I almost forgot about being on this show since it wasn't all that popular.

So anyway I wanted to show the clip to my parents. As they're sitting at the table, I tell them, "Oh! I want you to see this." And hold out the little ipod thing. But just then, a loud blaring music starts coming from the den. I thought Mark would stop it, realizing I'm trying to show Mom and Dad something. But when he didn't I had to go into the den and told him to turn it off. He turned it down. I said "No, turn it OFF!" It took a little fanagling of buttons to get it to actually turn off. It was a complicated system and I wasn't used to it yet. I warned him,"Don't EVER play music in my house before asking me." I was just really annoyed. I went back to the table and showed Mom and Dad the clip. I didn't explain about it, but apparently wen I started signing, they understood it was me because they got all teared up. I really didn't think it even sounded like me, but maybe that's because it sounds different in my own head. I was next to Mom and I could see little clumps of mascara on her eyelashes and tears in her eyes. I guess they were proud of me.

That was how the dream ended.

Oh! I actually had a cool dream lately! I was like a detective and my sidekick was my dog. But I can't remember what we did in the dream. But no famous people were my friends. XD

First coffee dream
Sometime around New Years 2009

Though I'm writing this in July, this dream happened shortly after new years. Exactly like how I jotted it down then.

1st dream about sad things! :( Won't write down.

2nd after I woke up after the bad dream (around 2am) I said "I should have a dream about coffee...." and that's what happened! I was wandering around Tokyo or Shibuya and ran into coffee or I was meeting coffee. I was a mess but I didn't care since I was in the middle of moving into my new apartment or something. It was also raining.

Coffee said "I guess I'll go back to my hole in the wall." Me: "What? Is it like a 1K?" Coffee: "Yeah and a studio for recording music." I was curious and looked like crap so I agreed to see it. Rachelle was with me. When we got there, the top floor of the apartment building, the apartment was like a whole open veranda! Rachelle said "this is the apartment?! Wow!" There were a looot of other girls there maybe 25. The roof was set up like a concert stadium with bleachers where most of the girls were sitting. Coffee got onto a little round stage with a violin and started playing that violin melody on that PBS musical travel show. Coffee might've played the piano later.

Rachelle said something like "He's not bad handsome and he has a nice place." I couldn't hear some words clearly. I said "What?" "He's not handsome but he has a nice place." (At first I thought she meant he was. So even in my dream my friends don't think I should go with coffee.) I was also wondering about the other girls but after the show coffee talked to only me again. I guess they were there for just the show. The End.

Finally a dream!
Saturday, May 2, 2009

This morning I had a slightly interesting dream that I could remember! I was in a big mall/school, and for our class I was going to do an Easter Egg hunt type thing. the other students were all about my same age. They were friends from college I think. I forgot to hide the items before class time though, so I had to make them wait while I rushed out trying to draw little Kikos on things that they'd have to find. (Kiko is a Neopet XD) I was upset I hadn't printed out little pictures of Kikos beforehand, because it was really hard trying to find a surface to draw one, plus drawing it took forever, plus my drawing skills were totally sucky in the dream and my markers were all dried up! I found some napkins in the food court and took some to draw Kikos on. The markers were even worse trying to draw on that. The mall attached to the school was closing but I went down the hall anyway. I heard some dinosaur roar behind me but didn't know what it could be coming from. I kept walking but I heard it again, right behind me! I turned around and there was this cool hologram of a dinosaur for an advertisement for a movie. On the floor below me was a trail of glass down the middle of the hall where the hologram was being projected from. I thought it was a neat advertising idea.

I had taken so much time out of class already, and just decided the Kiko search was dumb, so I was debating whether to just leave the school/mall and go home or not.
